Henry Adamson

Vice President Customer Service,
TDS Telecom

Henry "Curtis" Adamson joined TDS Telecom in February 2026 as Vice President of Customer Experience after nearly three decades at Verizon, where he led technical support, contact centers, field operations, and network support.

He arrived as TDS was accelerating its shift toward a fiber-centric regional broadband business. For Adamson, the challenge is broader than upgrading the network. His role is to make sure customers feel the benefits of that investment through simpler service, fewer avoidable problems, and a support model built for the new infrastructure.

That philosophy has shaped much of his career. At Verizon, Adamson repeatedly focused on removing friction before it reached the customer. He helped cut 35,000 annual truck rolls by addressing the causes of unnecessary dispatches and built a Fiber Solutions Center that supported 3 million FiOS customers while achieving a dispatch trouble rate below 10%.

He also showed a willingness to redesign operations around changing technology. While running six technical support centers, he retrained 30% of the copper repair workforce as fiber broadband agents while improving copper repair service levels by 15%.

At TDS, that same approach now extends across roughly 1,000 employees in acquisition, retention, financial services, technical support, and fulfillment. Adamson has been reshaping staffing, sales incentives, service technology, and operating processes around a more consistent customer journey.

His broader CX vision is to make the complexity behind a telecom provider less visible to the customer. That means consolidating billing, enabling field technicians to solve more issues directly, expanding lower-effort digital service, and creating more consistent support as fiber reaches new markets.
